Beer: Sunset Amber Ale brewed by Left Coast Brewing Co.
ABV: 5.4%
Color/Appearance: deep copper body nearing red with orange hue outlines.
Aroma: strong nutty malt flavor, almost like a mix of toffee and peanuts. Slight roast, very mild.
Taste: malty up front, but not too sweet because of a nice hop presence. A nice bitterness cuts nicely into the sweetness of the malt creating a collision of flavor on your taste buds. A kind of nutty hop flavor when it first hits your tongue then leading to a nice hoppy finish. This amber ale has a smooth and refreshing medium body mouth feel to it and goes great with my Santa Fe style pizza.
